FBLA-PBL's National Awards Program, commonly called competitive events, recognizes and rewards excellence in a broad range of business and career-related areas. Through state-based competition at the spring State Leadership Conferences, members compete in events that test their business knowledge and skills.
FBLA is an integral part of the curriculum for Business Management and Administration. The primary functions of FBLA are to 1) provide motivation; 2) serve as a tool of instruction; 3) and to provide leadership training necessary to insure desirable citizenship and success in the student's chosen occupation.

FBLA membership drive begins Monday, August 8 and ends Wednesday, September 14. Membership dues are $30 annually for new and returning members. Officers applications are due Thursday, September 15. Election Monday, September 19 online.
